Wi-Fi

 
To get connected to wifi@uwl please follow the steps below

To connect your Android device to eduroam (Wi-Fi) 
1. Tap Settings → Wireless & Networks        Wi-Fi settings    Add Wi-Fi Network
2. Network SSID: eduroam
2312719-a6.jpg3. Security: 802.1x Enterprise or WPA-EAP
4. EAP method: PEAP
5. Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
6. Identity: Your email address - e.g. - 12345678@student.uwl.ac.uk
7. Wireless password: Enter your password
8. Tap Save. You are now connected to Eduroam!


To connect your Apple device to eduroam (Wi-Fi)​
1. Tap Settings
   Wi-Fi.ios-logo1.png
2. Swipe to turn on Wi-Fi.
3. Tap eduroam.
4. Enter your username:  your student email - e.g. - 12345678@student.uwl.ac.uk  and your student portal password.
5. Tap Join.
6. When the certificate is displayed as ‘Not Trusted’, tap Trust.
    You are now connected to Eduroam!

Eduroam is a wireless network which allows users at UWL and any participating organisation to log in using the same username and password that they would use at their home organisation. It is available to UWL users visiting other participating organisations which include a large number of UK universities and abroad.
